Just in time for spring cleaning, the Ryobi 18V Pruning Chainsaw offers a brushless update to the brand's past iterations to make tree trimming quick and easy. We’re diving in to see how this compact tool can help homeowners take control of their yards.

The Ryobi 6-inch pruning chainsaw's brushless motor provides cutting speeds of up to 5 MPS (meters per second).

This saw's 6-inch bar and chain are ideal for pruning and light limbing of trees and branches up to 4 inches in diameter.

This chainsaw is Ryobi's most compact version yet. Compared to the P5453 pruning saw, this 6-inch tool is around 41% more compact. Not to mention, this tool also weighs significantly less, at just 3.65 pounds bare (compared to the 6.2-pound weight of the 8-inch model).

This compact, lightweight blueprint enables you to use it one-handed. Ryobi also gave it an oil-free design and tool-free chain tensioning.

This pruning saw retails for $149 as a bare tool. It's also available as a kit for $189, including a 2Ah battery and charger. It will be available at The Home Depot upon its spring 2023 release. Ryobi backs your purchase with a 3-year warranty.
