The King’s Plate is prominently featured in this week’s Super Screener with Mike Shutty singling out the value being presented by Caitlinhergrtness, the lone filly in the field.

"The main draw with this filly is what form-cycle analysis reveals," Shutty said. "After logging that pace top last out, she is primed for a six- to seven-point move forward off that last race. In addition, with this surface favoring forwardly placed types right now and the fact that the pace will be reasonable here, she’ll find a ground-saving trip comfortably traveling just two lengths off the pace and then will steadily gain on those leaders in the latter part of the turn. Coming off a pace top will sharpen her late kick to ensure plenty of stamina to the wire."

Ed DeRosa’s King’s Plate fair odds believe Midnight Mascot could get overlooked in the wagering and will get the set-up to succeed on Saturday.

DeRosa also has Alabama Stakes fair odds, and he thinks Miss Justify could be the value of the race as she seeks her first Grade 1 victory.

Tamulonis abd Ross also supplied head-to-head picks for the Del Mar Oaks, and they were unable to reach a consensus on favored Iscreamuscream in the Grade 1 feature.
