Here's everything you need to know about the Kamurocho Underground Dungeon in Yakuza: Like A Dragon!

Yakuza: Like A Dragon takes the series' dungeon-crawling sections to the next level, fully embracing the JRPG vibe with actual dungeons. Like A Dragon is a home to both the Yokohama Underground Dungeon in Isezaki Ijincho and the Kamurocho Underground Dungeon.

If you've made it this far, then you've already learned most of the ins and outs of combat and leveling up, given the Kamurocho Underground is only accessible toward the end of the game. You'll find this dungeon is an excellent resource for grinding levels, whether you're just beefing up before the final confrontation, or you plan on maxing out your stats.

The Kamurocho Underground Dungeon is a two-floor map with over 20 battles to fight against enemies ranging from level 38 to 60.

This is also the best spot to farm experience points in the game from Invested Vagabonds.

You'll find this dungeon in Kamurocho once you've completed most of the game. There is no way to access this dungeon with its high-level enemies until then.

You can access this dungeon before or after completing the final battle and will need to level up here to face the hardest challenges in the game.

While you were technically here in Chapter Two, the real, expanded Kamurocho Underground Dungeon only becomes available during the game's finale.

Head to the northwestern area of the map and walk to Theater Alley.

Once you're there, take a look at the sewer hole cover beside some vending machines; this is the entrance to the Kamurocho Underground Dungeon.

Once you enter, you cannot leave, so make your last preparations before heading in.

Before you jump straight in, stop by the Poppo on Shichifuku Street to stock up on Staminan XX and any other healing elixirs you may need.

While there is a healing and saving checkpoint after the first floor (B1F), you'll find yourself needing recovery on the B2F when the enemies get significantly more difficult.

Once your inventory is sorted out, you can compile your party and hop straight in.

Almost any party composition is viable, just make sure you bring a multi-hit or high-critical-hit-rate skill to deal with the Vagabonds. Joon-Gi Han's Rapid Shot is the most reliable skill to use.

This may not be immediately apparent, but every battle in the dungeon is optional and can be fled from.

Given that you are here to gain experience, you should consider running from every battle that does not include an Invested Vagabond. Focusing on Vagabonds will fast-track your path to becoming the most overpowered version of Ichiban possible.

Most battles will drain your MP and resources without a significant monetary or experience gain, so they are simply not worth your time and effort.

If you need a certain material, feel free to engage in the battle it drops from, but do not feel obligated to beat every group of enemies.

From the start of the first floor, make your way through the first group of enemies and into the room with Mister Six.

Defeat or flee Mister Six then grab the Plant Staminan Spark and Beautiful Cloth in this room.

East of the Mister Six Room you'll find an Immaculate Pane and Bronze Plate along with your third battle. Dispatch them to loot the other Immaculate Pane and silver safe they were guarding.

There are four more clusters of enemies to defeat in the northwestern area.

Defeat them or run, then loot Bronze and Gold Plates in the northwestern room.

From there, progress to the final hallway and face off against the lone Invulnera-Billboard guarding your path to the checkpoint.

After the battle, claim your Refined Iron and the silver safe before moving on to the next floor.

The second floor of the dungeon is much more expansive than the first and features much more difficult groups of enemies.

When you enter this floor, turn right immediately to collect a Silver Ingot and Tempered Steel on the ground.

There are four Invested Vagabonds on this floor, so you can gain roughly 400,000 experience from each, for a total of 1.6 million experience.

Deal with Dr. Black and the group of Crotchety Geezers in the hallway however you see fit.

If you're fighting, then dispatch the geezers with Ice or Electric; collect a Silver Plate and Tungsten after.

The next group can be ignored or taken out quickly with Ice.

Follow the hallway until you reach a fork on the left to explore. Collect High-quality Lumber, High-quality Cloth, and Highest-quality Lumber from this area before returning to the path.

Progress to the third fight, where you'll encounter your first Invested Vagabond.

Be aware that Invested Vagabonds are not like other enemies and will only take a single point of damage from most attacks unless they deal a critical hit.

Invested Vagabonds love to flee, so make sure you focus on them immediately using multi-hit or critical-hit skills to defeat them.

Once you take out the Vagabond and finish the fight, watch the levels roll in with a massive chunk of experience. From the Vagabond fight, head east down the hall until you see a single dead-end room to the north of you.

Level-ups also restore your MP and HP, so you can save on healing resources.

There are five Gifted Gatherers hiding among the trash. After dealing with them, collect two High-end Leather and one Full-grain Leather from the room. Head back south then follow the hallway east; the northern dead-end has a Platinum Plate to collect before progressing.

As you make your way to the central portion of the map, you'll see another dead-end to the east where you can collect a Golden Butterfly and Golden Rhinoceros Beetle.

Continue following the hallway south and then east to reach a group with the second Invested Vagabond.

Quickly defeat the Vagabond then use Fire skills to take the rest of the enemies out.

Acquire the Reinforced Alloy in the corner of this room. From here you can go north, south, or east; go east first.

Unlock the golden safe to the east before returning to the prior room.

Now, go south, then east to encounter the seventh group of enemies.

Go south after the enemies to encounter the eighth group, and a Jack The Ripper. Target him first if you're fighting it out.

Collect the briefcase with a Bronze Plate, then go to the eastern room for a Golden Stag Beetle. Head out of this offshoot back north, then east to encounter the group with the third Invested Vagabond.

After you eliminate the Vagabond, focus on taking out the Arminator in this group as he can deal tons of damage fast.

Collect the Silver Plate, Pearl, and High-purity Lead from this room along with a silver safe. Backtrack to the room with three paths from earlier and this time you'll head north – the final direction.

Deal with the group of five enemies using elemental skills.

Collect the Gleaming Aluminum then go east. Ignore the next group of enemies until you come to a strange room with a statue of a man wearing a sombrero in the center.

It's time to crash this little cult party; dispatch or run from the Munanugget Messiah and his flock.

Collect a Raw Sapphire Ore, Gold Plate, and silver safe in this room.

Backtrack slightly to another room in the eastern quadrant of the map with three directions. Go north, then immediately east into a small room.

This room contains the fourth and final Invested Vagabond, along with two Urbane Legends and a double dose of The Outliers.

Use Electric skills to clear the Urbane Legends then take care of The Outliers with Fire or Blunt skills.

Collect the Gold Ingot then exit the room, continuing north. Before you head to the final northern corridor, check out the west passage for a Golden Scorpion, Golden Spider, and Golden Mantis.

Head north through the hallway to encounter the penultimate group. Electric and Ice skills do the job if you want to fight these guys.

Finally, you've reached the last room in the dungeon, and it's no joke.

Be on your guard and don't be afraid to equip a Sacrifice Stone on Ichiban to avoid death here.

This final group is immensely dangerous, so you need to prioritize your targets carefully.

Focus on defeating the Scarred Yakuza first, then the Dark Sweeper and Bohemiarch next. Once you've eliminated those threats, it's just two Captain Crunchers left.

The Captain Crunchers can still wipe your team, so be sure to Paralyze and Charm them as soon as you can to prevent them from attacking. Exploit their Blade and Ice weaknesses, and you'll be the champion of the Kamurocho Underground Dungeon.

Your rewards will also include four golden safes, a Raw Diamond Ore, and a Bronze Plate.
